Tonight’s pic is one we got at the old church in Cade’s
Cove, yesterday. It was beautiful out
there.
Today we went to the creek in
town where we always like to go with the kids.
We walked around and looked at some cabins that we’ve rented over the
years and then went to town and walked around a little bit. A little bit goes a long way, so it didn’t
take us long to get back to the truck and head back to the condo. We drove around some more in the National
Park and then accidentally went back to town because we missed a turn. We’re learning our way around better and
better. I think we’ve learned that we
like the park a lot better than the town.
The town is pretty much a tourist trap.
I’m amazed at how people flock to it when the park is so much better. I’m
thankful that our forefathers were wise enough to hold out some land for national
parks so that we don’t contaminate every bit of God’s handiwork with trinket
shops! We are blessed to get to witness
the beginnings of the colors changing on the trees. The dogwoods are just beautiful!
