Road hazzards . . .

It could have happened anywhere, but it happened on our trip. The fuel pump died. We were fortunate that Don could pull the van over to the side of the road and we found a tree that gave us some shade while we waited. Shade helps a lot when it's over 100! We had apples and water with us, so we were fine. The reunion was way fun and we made it home just fine today. I thank God for a safe trip and for the wonderful people who stopped to make sure we didn't need help or water. How encouraging they were!

  1. Oh my gosh! That is a lot to go through in one day. There is little worse to me (regarding general pains in the rear) than the car breaking down. I'm glad you two are well and made it through and were still able to have a good time.

  4. Ha! Dana, I got that and thought the same thing! I don't know who that Anonymous is, but they're hurting! Don is the one with sexy legs in this household! I answered Wendy's Becky twice, but, I'm doing something wrong because my answers aren't showing. Wonder if this one will? I'd better slow down and see if I can do it right.

  5. Dear Wendy's Becky,

Now, this is the third time I've answered this. The last time was just a minute ago and I leaned on the wrong key and lost it. Ugh. I'm going to slow down and do it right before I stress up another cancer occurrence! I think you should slow down if you can, too. I think we need to have a pact to encourage each other to live healthier for us and not create the environment in our bodies that made cancer happy to be with us the first time. Ya think?

Anyway, yes, I'm so glad our car trouble wasn't something worse. Car trouble sure can throw a wet blanket onto any plan! I'm so grateful to Don for taking care of it and leaving me to go on to our little reunion and enjoy my classmates from 50 years ago!

    Love you!
