Ahhhhhhhh! PTL!

Our little buddy, Alyssa, came over for a couple of hours today. Her mommy had some errands to run, so she stayed with us a bit. We had fun! She is such a joy and bit of sunshine to have visit, so it was good for us. It was a wonderful day, so she and I played basketball most of the time she was here. It was a good distraction for us as we were just counting down the time to go to the doctor and get Don's catheter removed.

The catheter was removed with no issues. Then we went to eat at the Western Sizzlin while we waited to see if his plumbing would work. Sure enough, it DID! We were so pleased, and he is really enjoying being free from the catheter. He looks forward to a night of sleep where he can turn over if he feels like it. We thank God for his healing so far and for giving us bodies that are fixable. We also thank God for sunshine in our lives, whether it comes in the form of little buddies, grandchildren or rays from the sky.

God bless the folks in Joplin and all over who are experiencing such horrendous weather and loss!
