Newsflash!!

Hello everyone! A quick message from the former blogmaster. The baby didn't wait for mom after all Summer Rayne came early this morning amidst thunderstorms weighing 7lbs 4oz. Here she is with her other grandma, who is doing double duty filling in for grammy! Gotta love Grandmas!

Tricia

PS - Sorry it's sideways... can't seem to figure that out....

  1. Oh Jo.....how sweet is this???!! I know how you want to get your hands on her. She is so sweet and content looking, and it was worth standing sideways to see! Another beautiful gift from God reminding us of His goodness! Wow! Thanks for the call filling me in on your busy day...wish I was there, but you know I am in thought and prayer! I love you and Congratulation on your precious new grandbaby! Ruthie

  2. Ruthie, isn't she so precious!? How great is God to give us so abundantly. We are so amazed and grateful! I sure hate to have missed the birth, but sweet Rosie, the other Grandma will stand in and enjoy pleasures I've hogged with Tricia's last five births. I am so grateful that Trish is blessed with a wonderful mother-in-law and as I see Rosie so conent with the baby I feel like I should have stepped aside with the other births. She's a GRAND grandma and mother to all the kids. I feel blessed to know that Trish has such a good back up, and I'm thrilled to share this spot with Rosie. I really can't wait to get there and snuggle her and all the other kids. They are an awesome family and we're so proud of them, as well as all the rest of the family. We are so counting blessings!

It was great to talk to you! I'm going to be thinking of you all the time; I've not gone through much in life without you paving the road ahead of me, so this is kind of new territory. I know you have your own issues, so lets hold hands in spirit. When I didn't want a big pillow today and asked if I could roll it up they thought I was wierd. I told them how we used to take turns sleeping on each other's arms, so maybe that's why, besides it was good support for me to recall those times. The nurse loved that. :) Love you heaps and gobs! 3. OH MY GOSH!!!! She is too cute! We finally have power here so I was able to see her! I haven't been able to reach Tricia by phone yet either. Nate said she was gone to the chiropractor and then "all circuits were busy" all night....today, I can't get the machine or person to pick up. I'm afraid I am going to wake them up. MORE PICTURES NEED TO BE POSTED OF THE BABY!!!! Aunt Jilly is DYING to see and show her off up here in NY! Love to everyone!!!
