Giddy up go!

The picture on the blog tonight is Elena riding her horse. She doesn’t do anything barely; she gives it her all.

We are snug as bugs in a rug in Branson. I did go out once today; we needed a couple of bananas and some vinegar. Some recipe, huh? Actually we eat a banana a day and I didn’t count out enough when we went to the grocery store the other day. I wanted to get enough to get us through this week before we move to the next condo. Don has not felt good since we’ve been here, so we thought maybe a little apple cider vinegar would help his stomach. It always does if he has indigestion, but it hasn’t helped today. He doesn’t have a fever or any real symptoms to give us a clue, but he just doesn’t feel good. He’s had this off and on since we were on our Thanksgiving trip. We chalked it up to travel, being out of his routine, etc. The last 4 days it has been pretty solid, so we’re really puzzled. Well, now I said that and he’s laughing at something on TV. He hasn’t laughed all day, so maybe he IS feeling better.

I am so grateful that we can stay tucked in for a while. Branson is a great place to spend the winter. I thank God that we can get away this close to home. We have friends and family coming to join us, but not until the holidays are over. It’ll be fun to have company.

  1. Maybe dad needs some Olbas? That health food store at the end of the strip might have some. Just a drop always helps my unhappy tummy. So sorry he doesn't feel good! Poor dad!

  2. Thanks, Trish for the idea. I had some with me, so we tried that after you suggested it. He felt better this morning, but after being up a couple of hours it hit him again. That's when he tried the Olbas. It didn't help. He felt icky all day, but is perking up, again, now. He's a mysterious one, but he's tough. He'll be okay.

Thanks for keeping an eye on us.

    Love,

    Mom
