Tonight I'm putting on a video instead of a picture. This video is about the Celebration of Freedom that we have every year in Hobart and this video is from this year. At #231 you'll see our granddaughter, Grace, painting at the Arts on the Square. Her sister Sadie is standing there and you can see her arm with the bracelets. I am standing there with the red top; you'll see my black cord (necklace); you've got to watch quickly or even stop the video to see us. :) At the quilt show you'll see my neighbor Hazel and our good friend, Joan, who was on the blog at the card table in last night's post.
These are good memories. Our friend, Tom Rose, came to see us the week before the Celebration of Freedom and we talked him into staying a week so he could participate. He's in that poker run on the video, somewhere, but I couldn't spot him. Maybe he'll know where he was and pinpoint himself on the video for us. It was a great week to have him stay with us and spend that great weekend of celebration with us and with Trish and Rob and the kids.
I thank God for the great times to treasure and the memory to relive it over and over. What fun! Consider this an invitation to join us anytime, but especially for the Celebration of Freedom. It's a fun weekend and we'll make room for whoever can be here!
