We decided to take Grace home today instead of tomorrow. She was missing her family, and we didn’t want her to be homesick. I had the tea party planned for her and the girls next door for this morning, but then we figured she’d rather be home after that. We have the group coming for canasta tonight, and then we’d go to church in the morning. She’d rather be home to go to church with her family where she is comfortable, I think. Yesterday she was looking at the picture on the wall of her brothers and sister and calling their names with teary eyes, so we thought it would be better to take her home today. Trish met us about 30 miles this side of OKC, so that we didn’t have to make the whole trip and could get home in time to greet the canasta gang.
Now we’re home and MISSING GRACE!!! The tea party was fun and I managed to get a couple of pictures, so those are on the blog today.
I’m going to go jiggle and get some time in my kangoojumps before everyone gets here.
