The trip to Houston went fine today. We got here in time to rest and visit a little before Doris and Jerry’s life group came for Sunday night study at their house. That was a good experience and then several of us went out to east supper together. Now I’m exhausted! I slept nearly all the way to Dallas this morning, so the trip wasn’t too hard on me. Don is the one who had the hard day.We’ll sleep late tomorrow and get plenty of rest getting braced For Tuesday.
The pictures on the blog tonight are:
1) The one Don took Friday night before we left for canasta. I was so tired when we got home that I forgot we even had that picture!
2) This one Don took just a few minutes ago. You can tell my right eye is a bit ahead of my left eye. Maybe it’s the left eye that’s ahead; it looks like it’s already gone to bed!
Tonight we’re thanking God for a safe trip and a warm welcome here! Judy welcomed us to her house, too, but we opted to stay here this time. We’re so lucky to have two people who are so welcoming to us! It’s great to feel at home even when you aren’t at home!

Hi Mom! I got caught up on the blog today! I like your plain hats better than the one with bangs! I went to church yesterday and Sharon was going on and on about how good you looked with the bangs, and that's when I realized that I must have missed a day or two on the blog! I've had a few weeks off from transcription so I'm not on the computer as much.

Thanks, Jilly. You know I take your advice really seriously; don't always agree and go with it, but I pay close attention!
ReplyDeleteThings will clear up before you know it. Time flies whether you're having fun or not; Aunt Ruthie and I discovered that! One day you'll look back and say, "Man, can you believe there was a pool out there?!" Mud washes, too; just hope your washer and dryer hold good to the test!
